Explore Natural Gas fueling networks and learn how to bridge gaps in the network, either temporarily or long term. Choose which applications youd like to view, from original gas source to end use, including the type of gas delivery approach. Learn how distributed power, central power, marine ports, mining, gas fields and oil fields can be connected. See the paths that CNG and LNG can take to get to any one end user and read about the role the natural gas plays in its end use location. Zoom in and out and rotate the generated map showing key elements that illustrate the virtual pipeline delivery system.
Development within natural gas is often varied from project to project. Using a flexible and diverse approach, a virtual pipeline system will allow for gas transport where the physical pipeline network is immature or nonexistent. Gas is processed and compressed at its source location, and made readily available for diesel replacement and other fueling needs. The compressed or liquefied gas can also be transported to another location for use, in applications ranging from industrial power generation to NGV fueling.
Scalable and modular, virtual pipelines utilize rail, road or port shipment to provide the reliable, unique and flexible augmentation of the physical pipeline network that is necessary to move gas and monetize it where it is needed. GE Oil & Gas facilitates these connections with powerful technology and partners with years of gas compression and processing technology.
